It’s been a great boat for the types of fishing I do. I’ve been fishing the chandeleur islands a lot spring/summer with 30 mile open water runs. Boat has handled great. A couple times winds have kicked up and wished I had a bigger boat- Although boat handled well and got me back safe. But I also fish fall and winter in the marsh and a bigger boat would just be too much boat. So it’s been a great compromise for both the spring summer long open water runs and inside marsh fishing in fall winter.
